5.0 out of 5 stars - Revelation

“These warnings and chastisements are easily misunderstood. It would be much more clear to state them as warnings that if we do not, of our own free wills, avoid sin, especially sins of injustice toward each other, like murder, rape, robbery, bigotry, and violence, we will wind up experiencing the consequences of sins committed by others.”

In Revelation: Mature Look Maurice Williams takes us through the book of Revelation in the Christian Bible. There are more than a few things that Mr. Williams reveals that I found profound and unique to his book alone. Most historical documentation I have studied for years has John the youngest disciple as the author of the book of Revelation, yet Mr. Williams argues that it is John the Baptist. Which I found surprising at first yet he has a clear argument to the fact it is entirely possible for him to have written it while in the dessert preaching or is the prison in Harrods castle.

I also found how he points out unlike others that Revelation is not just about the end of times but also speaks of the beginning of beginnings even before the garden of Eden to the war in heaven and the fall of Lucifer and the one-third of angels that followed him. Most people don't see those things tied into the whole of the story yet he explains Revelation not in book order but chronological which helps gets more through an understanding of the book.

I really did enjoy what he had to say and the evidence he presented for his facts and I will be recommending this book to others who want to learn and understand the book of revelation.
